 Friends of Queen's Dyke School Friends of Queen's Dyke School (FoQDS) is a registered charity whose membership is open to parents and carers (past and present), staff and governors. It is led by a committee which is re-elected annually. The Friends Association provides a vital link between home and school, and encourages participation in the school of all family members and carers, through educational, fund-raising and social events. A regular newsletter and FoQDS noticeboard keep parents informed of forthcoming activities and meetings. Regular fund-raising activities include a summer fair, Christmas bazaar and children's discos.
