It has overall responsibility for the conduct of the School with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement. Governors meet regularly as a whole body, as well as in small committees, to make decisions about finance, staffing, premises and the curriculum. Several of the governors are parents themselves and others are co-opted or appointed by the County Council. The governors work closely with the staff and are often in the school. They are always interested to hear parents’ views, worries and suggestions and can be contacted via the school office.
